Holiday Clothes & Food Drive
Every year, SPOTGSA organizes a clothes and food drive to a chosen organization (e.g. 2017-18 - Old Mission Brewery). If you have clothes, food, toys or other re-usable goods, please take the time to think about contributing to our cause.
PT Day In-service
Organized in collaboration with POTUS, PT Day In-service is an occasion for PT students from all years to participate in an event to give back to the community. For example, in 2016-17, we went to Yellow Doors and organized an afternoon of arts and crafts and music for the elderly.
World PT Day
World PT day is a time (usually around beginning of September) for PT students to promote the profession to the rest of the McGill community. The students table at a lively location (such as the Y-intersection) and prepare a series of informational sessions and activities for anybody who pass by. There are often a samosas sale and/or a bake sale, as well as free promotional items to be given to participants in commemoration of the physical therapy profession.
